Would You Still Be You? is a performance for live actor, musician, and 2 shadow puppet performers. This piece was made in collaboration with Bay-area based playwright Paul G. Heller. This pieces tells to story of a young man who takes his usual commute to work on a train. One day, he dreams that each train stop he passes is a life he wished he could live. At each stop he has an opportunity to jump into a distinct reality to fulfill his wishes, in dreamtime. He stops at a Viennese Ballroom to perform an extravagant waltz. On another stop he jumps onto a horse and becomes an ancient Japanese horse-riding archer. He goes scuba diving and he learns how to play the taiko drum.
